Geyser Installations
To whom it may concern,
We would like to bring to your attention the changes made to SANS 10254 for geyser installations.
SANS 10254 for the installation, maintenance, replacement and repair of fixed electric storage water heating systems also known as geysers was updated and amended in December 2017.
With the new amendments plumbing contractors are required to issue a COC and a notice of Non-Compliances when maintenance, repairs, replacements and new installation take place. As per SANS 10254, Section 4.1.1.4.
This will ensure the work they have completed is aligned to the requirements of the South African National Standards
